As a Friend of The Edge, you will be supporting a rural, community arts centre with a strong educational remit. The Edge is financed by William Brookes School and by income generated by the box office, after-school clubs and other programmes. We operate on a minimal staff of part-time employees. All of this means that our Friends scheme is very important to us, both as a source of income and as a pledge of support from our audiences and visitors.
If you sign up now, it costs £20/annum to be a Friend. As a Friend, you will currently receive the following benefits:
- Invitations to Private Views in the Gallery, and to other social events
- Advance mailing of the programme, which appears three times a year
- The opportunity to reserve a table for a maximum of four people for our cabaret-style events. Because of the popularity of this benefit, these tables will be allocated on a first come-first served basis until all tables are allocated, so please consider booking early
- Reductions on our National Theatre Live, Royal Shakespeare Company and Opera Live presentationsPlease register for the Friends of The Edge programme by completing the Registration Form. You can pay in cash, by credit/debit card or by cheque (cheques made payable to The Edge Arts Centre). You can join at any time in the year, and we will remind you to renew your subscription each year.
